This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid Mydle subscriptions. Paid orders are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle’s Refund Policy and Buyer Terms govern the payment relationship. Nothing in this page limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
1. Cancellation is not a refund
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. In Mydle, cancellation is typically scheduled for the end of the current billing period: you keep paid plan access until that period ends, then paid features end. Cancellation does not automatically refund amounts already charged for the current period.
You can start cancellation from Mydle billing settings (which uses Paddle’s subscription APIs / customer portal where configured) or from the manage-subscription link in your Paddle receipt / paddle.net.
2. How to request a refund
Refunds for Paddle transactions are handled by Paddle, not by a direct card credit from Mydle outside Paddle. To request a refund or exercise an applicable withdrawal right:
- Use the support or refund links in your Paddle receipt or customer portal; or
- Visit paddle.net and select “Request refund”; or
- Contact support@mydle.app with your order email and Paddle order / transaction reference — we will help route the request to Paddle and can assist with product-related issues.
Eligible refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method where possible, on the timelines described in Paddle’s policy (often within 14 days of approval for standard refunds).
3. Paddle’s approach (summary)
Under Paddle’s published Refund Policy (as of March 2026 on paddle.com):
- Unless required by applicable law, transactions are generally non-refundable, but Paddle may issue discretionary refunds (commonly reviewed for requests within 14 days of the transaction date) or honor statutory withdrawal / refund rights.
- Consumers in certain regions (including the EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland and Turkey, among others) may have a short statutory right to withdraw from some digital service contracts — often 14 days from the first subscription payment, with important exceptions once digital content or service use has begun with consent. Later renewals may have different rules.
- Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval. Fraudulent or abusive refund patterns may be refused.
- If a refund is granted, access to the paid product may end as described by Paddle.
Always check the current text at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy. If local law or Paddle’s terms give you stronger rights, those rights prevail.
4. Product defects and support
If a material defect prevents you from using features you paid for, contact support@mydle.app first so we can try to fix the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved, Paddle may still review a refund under its defect and consumer-protection rules.
5. Free plan
The Free plan does not require payment. There is nothing to refund for Free usage. Free does not automatically convert to a paid subscription.
